Service Opportunities
How can you earn service hours? Read below for our different various service activities.
*NOTE: If you know of a service opportunity that you would like the club to partake in, please contact us. 

 Group Opportunites

(activities that usually requires a significant amount of members)

 

Key Club Meetings: The easiest possible way to earn hours. Come to our weekly meetings! Meetings take place every Monday in the Scramble right after school. Meetings are designed to inform you of our events and activities. All you have to do is remember to sign-in before leaving the meeting.

 

Adopt - a - Street: Clean the streets. Usually takes place after our meetings. We clean the streets for approximately 1 - 2 hours. Promotes the idea of keeping our school, community, and environment clean.

 

Adopt - a - Family:

 

Fall Rally: Saturday October 24th at Great America. members must have 5 hours to attend. Tickets are $30 and include an unlimited drink wristband [$10 Value]

 

Acorn Picking: Go downtown with other members and help keep our streets clean by picking up acorns and other trash.

 

Cementary Clean-Up: Help with fellow Key Clubbers take care of our local cemetary by raking and etc.

 

 Individual Opportunites

(activities that you must sign up for yourself and is more of an individual project)

 

Tutoring: Ustach Middle School need tutors for their students in all subjects including math, science, history, and english. Tutoring takes place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in their library from 2:50 until 3:50pm. Location is at Ustach Midrdle School - 2701 Kodiak Drive, Modesto, Ca 95355.

 

DCM: Division Council Meetings. Meetings held by our Lieutenant Governer. They usually are held at different various schools out of town. Meetings usually start at 6:00 pm until 8 or 9pm. They are like a typical Key Club meeting except they include multiple schools with a different variety of people from our division and they also provide food and activities. Transporation always provided. Check calendar or contact Anna for the dates. Held once every month, usually on the second Monday.

 

Standiford Place: Help out the local eldery and get to play Wii! Saturdays serve tea and cookies for the elderly and play Wii with them. It is every Saturday and times will be announced.
