Interested in becoming Beyer Key Club's officers for the 2009-2010 school year? Download the form Officer Application below. Right click and then open or save. Fill out the form and turn it in to Anna Do either by dropping it in Mr. Severe's room (H-1), the next Key Club Meeting (2/9/09), or drop it in Anna's box in the SBO by February 11, 2009. Please be aware that you are required to present a short intro/speech about yourself.

Please be aware that position as Key Club officer is a year long term and commitment. Officers are required to attend all possible general and board meetings, as well as meetings in the summer. You must present a positive attitude at all times. You must act as a role model for fellow Key Club members. AND REMEMBER Key Club IS a community service club, therefore officers should participate in as many events as possible. Before applying, please consider your other obligations and consider this question...Am I willing to put out enough time and effort to make Beyer Key Club a success? Elected officers who fail to complete duties and obligations may be impeached from position.
Elections and speeches will be held on February 23, 2009!
If it turns out that too many people applied for a single position, the top 3-4 will be chosen based on the hours they have acquired over the course of the school year as well as their applications.
Individual Officer Duties:
President: Conduct and preside general meetings as well as board meetings. Delegate activites and jobs accordingly. Communicates with officers, advisors, committee chairs, as well as LTG. Keep Beyer Key Club active and running smoothly. Runs website, answers correspondance, as well as other things.
Vice-President: Act as president's right hand. Conduct and preside general meetings upon the absence of President. Assist all officers in everyway possible. Will be in charge of recording members' hours and weekly icebreakers, as well as other things.
Secretary: Record weekly minutes for meetings. Attendance at meetings = very imperative. Have all records up to date and in good order. Must submit very important monthly reports to district and LTG.
Treasurer: Collect members dues and in charge of filling out member roster, have accurate knowledge of the club's budget and financial status. Fills out financial reports for the club. To put it simply, is Iin control of the club's money, its collection and disbursement.
Editor: Makes signs, posters, and banners annoucing meeting dates and projects of the club. Promoting the club so that Key Club will be known within the school and community. Is the advertiser, commumnicator, and publicity person of the club. WILL also be assiting president with the managing of website.
